The Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine announced this week that 31,072 U.S. scientists signed a petition stating that “… There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane or other greenhouse gases is causing, or will cause in the future, catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate...”
Now what was the White House's response to a question from a reporter in the White House Press Corp concerning this report? Here is the press secretary's response, “I would say that everyone is entitled to their opinion. What’s your next question?” An abrupt dismissal of the consensus of over 31,000 scientists! Now this is from the Administration that had the good sense to reject pursuing the Kyoto Treaty on Global Warming. It seems that the White House is now dispensing the "green" Kool Aid at all White House functions.
So get ready for big government to control your driving habits, your household temperature and the foods you eat. Why do I say this? This is what Barack Obama said in Oregon this past week: Obama called for the U.S. to “lead by example” on global warming. “We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times… and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK… That’s not leadership. That’s not going to happen,” he said.
So you draw your own conclusions. And John McCain is in the tank for this "Junk Science" theory also.So don't look for any relief from him either. So we disregard the opinion of 31,072 scientists, but follow like lemmings the teachings of "Professor" Al Gore! Pathetic!
