UN Sending a Representative to the US
Written by Patrick
Tuesday, 20 May 2008

So, the UN is turning loose a representative in the US to investigate racism....

Now the UN turns a blind eye to the likes of North Korea, China, Burma, Iran,
Syria, etc. which are a few of the worst human rights violators on the planet,
but finds the wherewithal to send an investigator to the US to investigate
racism. This is just another reason why we should tell the UN to pack its bags
and locate elsewhere, and also remove ourselves from that pathetic body. It is
utterly useless.

But while the subject of racism has been brought up, does it only work one way?
From the media reporting it certainly seems so. Repeatedly it is reported that
90% of black voters support Barack Obama. This just seems to be a "given",
accepted, and so no question as to why this might be so. Could it be that it's
because Obama is black? No racism here? That is certainly their right, but let's
call it what it is.

In Sundays (5/11/08) Lynchburg's News and Advance, Ms. Yvonne R. Davis, an
acknowledged black Republican stated in a prominent commentary that she was an
"Obama girl". Yes, she went on to espouse the hardships her father and
grandfather experienced as blacks, but we must conclude that somehow she had
overcome that past and was a Republican - had even served as an appointee of
President Bush.

Now if we take Ms. Davis at her word that she is a Republican, and she states
that "most black Republicans won't admit it but they will actually vote for
Obama", what can we conclude from this? Certainly if Ms. Davis believes in the
Republican principles, there is certainly a clear choice in this election
between ideologies, so then we must conclude that her vote is based solely on
race alone. Yes, political correctness has certainly prevailed on this issue.
Racism apparently applies only in one direction. Maybe the UN guy will sort this
out - want to bet?
